The acronyms continue with CMYK and PMS. And instead of pixels we're working in Picas. But the nice thing about many of the projects I've worked on is the ability to try new technologies. Second best is when you have the opportunity to create a brochure that is going to accompany a video like. Being able to create each one from scratch and have them work with each other is incredible.
AT&T Teleconference Services I had the opportunity to work with an emerging technology of print-on-demand. A user interface was created by the interactive team while I assmbled the printed materials with flexible and modular content that allowed the user to customize the information based on his or her discression.
GraficaGroup Displaying their latest Web designs, a photographer gave me a single image of a non-working iMac in which I made it appear that there were four grouped together, colored differently, along with screen grabs of the selected sites.
Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Ne Jersey The hidden beauty in these types of CDs is the fact that it has to be perfectly ballanced. These things spin at high speeds in the CD-ROM drive and cannot be weighted to one site at all. I managed to create the balanced template on the first shot. Not too shabby.
H&R Construction Parts and Equipment When you have the opportunity to create pieces from scratch, it's a great feeling knowing that two completely different forms of marketing materials will work hand in hand. This brochure was designed, photographed, and printed in about 15 business days. It came in at the last minute as I was adding the finishing touches to their video.
Main Street Mercantile A local hobby shop wanted a business card that would stand out. This business card folded open like a curio cabinet and displayed the business's information on the inside. Gift cards were made up using the same template, but with no print on the inside so they could be personalized with messages. Letterhead and envelopes were also created to complete the entourage.
